At last, organisations are now campaigning against the lucrative yearly vaccination scam, which has not only profited vets and the big pharmaceutical companies but has also been compromising the welfare of our pets for many years. Having worked for big pharma for over 20 years, my own personal opinion is that there is not a shred of credible evidence on the planet to support vaccination in either humans or animals. The recommendation for just one dose of puppy vaccines is not good enough, these are probably the most dangerous. Founder of GSDR
I only give the puppy course and then stop vaccinations - is this safe? Chris Day from Alternative Vets - 'Sadly, the acute-onset problems and the chronic issues can be set up by even the very first vaccine event, in a susceptible individual. We have even witnessed puppy and kitten deaths after the first dose.'
If your vets are pushing yearly vaccinations quote this: “A fiduciary must not misleadingly impart only half truths. A statement that does not present the whole truth may be regarded as misrepresentation (Tate v Williamson LR 2 Ch App 55).”This is case law which means that a fiduciary (an individual in whom another has placed the utmost trust and confidence to manage and protect property or money... such as a vet) is acting illegally if he tells you that vaccines must be 'boosted' every year or three years, and that vaccine reactions are only mild!
The veterinary profession is broken and it isn’t about to change anytime soon. Our pets are being over-serviced and we’re getting fleeced. We pay for the unnecessary vaccinations, the overly-processed, synthetic prescription pet foods that contain ingredients from China, and we pay for drugs and chemicals that are damaging to the immune system. After shelling out for these services, pet owners need to keep their wallets open because, sooner or later, the chronic disease caused by these products like allergies and cancer will start to kick in and require treatment. They threaten the quality and quantity of life for our companion animals – and many of these diseases are caused by the products vets tell us are safe and effective. Nosodes the Safe Alternative to Toxic Vaccines
These two puppies Bilbo Baggins and Lyra were born in rescue after we took on a female GSD who unbeknown to us, was expecting puppies. Bilbo and Lyra both received 6 in one 'nosode' drops - 2 drops, twice a day for one week, repeated a month later. Then advised to only repeat if a serious outbreak of parvo locally. The repeat for a local outbreak is a precautionary measure only.
The 6 in one includes kennel cough and is available in liquid form (for drops) or crystal powder. Costs from our supplier is £22 for a bottle which lasts for several years for one dog or would cover several dogs
Are there different species susceptibilities to vaccination? Chris Day - 'Certainly, we see increased incidence of possibly vaccine-related illness (vaccinosis) in certain breeds (e.g. Cavaliers and German Shepherds) but this may be a reflection of their poor innate immune stability and robustness."
'Giving a double dose of vaccine, in the manner of a puppy course, to a dog that has lapsed annual boosters, has no basis in science and appears especially dangerous. In German Shepherds especially, we have seen several cases of sudden-onset CDRM, within a very short time after such procedures.'
No manufacturer will guarantee the safety of vaccination. Quite apart from dangerous and life-threatening anaphylactic reactions, that can occur within hours of the injection, transient fevers and malaise and injection site lumps or abscesses, there can be chronic, late-onset problems. As a referral centre, dealing mainly with troublesome chronic disease, our own research suggests that over 80% of chronic illness that we see starts within three months of a vaccination event. Such problems include skin problems, allergy, atopy, autoimmune problems, heart murmur, meningitis, encephalitis, paralysis, nervousness, excitability, epilepsy and seizures, CDRM, cardiomyopathy, colitis, chronic diarrhoea, ear problems, 'virus' in horses, sarcoid, COPD and headshaking. It may even be that syringomyelia may be triggered by vaccination. Proving an association in any single case is not possible but the overall statistics are frightening.
Is there an alternative to vaccination? 'There is an alternative in the form of homeoprophylactic Nosodes (a side-shoot of homeopathy - the so-called 'homeopathic alternative'). However, the efficacy of nosodes remains unproven by any current scientifically-accepted criteria. My own dogs, cats and horses, however, are only protected in this way, having never received conventional vaccinations. To our knowledge, our dog has withstood contact with an active parvovirus case and an active distemper case. Our cats come into contact, almost daily, with deadly viruses brought by feline patients to our premises. In 40 years, at the time of writing, they have not fallen prey to any virus infections, despite non-vaccination and contact with local cats, both feral and domestic. Most of our clients cease their animal's vaccinations, without ill effect and many start their pups on a homeoprophylactic regime alone. In fact, recently, a litter of Vizslas contacted Parvovirus at five weeks of age, just after having started their course of the 'alternative'. All survived.'Chris Day Alternative Vets
'NEW GUIDANCE from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) means that unnecessary inoculations may no longer have to be carried out. For the first time, the institute has accepted a titre blood test to show the dog’s level of immunity against infectious diseases, which could preclude unnecessary but mandatory vaccinations.
This guidance is for boarding kennels and local authorities.
This endorsement from some of the main veterinary and animal welfare bodies means that owners, whether kennelling their dogs or not, can be sure of the science supporting such a test.' Published in DogWorld
There are many online resources that are now providing proof that we are damaging ourselves and our pets with vaccinations
PUPPY VACCINES ARE PROBABLY THE MOST DANGEROUS- Chris Day from Alternative Vets - 'Sadly, the acute-onset problems and the chronic issues can be set up by even the very first vaccine event, in a susceptible individual. We have even witnessed puppy and kitten deaths after the first dose.'
The vaccinated, but not the non-vaccinated, dogs in the Purdue studies developed autoantibodies to many of their own biochemicals, including fibronectin, laminin, DNA, albumin, cytochrome C, cardiolipin and collagen.
This means that the vaccinated dogs -- ”but not the non-vaccinated dogs”-- were attacking their own fibronectin, which is involved in tissue repair, cell multiplication and growth, and differentiation between tissues and organs in a living organism.
Vaccines and Brain Damage
Neurological damage is one of the most prevalent and least desired adverse effects of the vaccine process. By over-vaccinating canines, we are introducing a potentially serious danger into society: brain damaged dogs.
Why Do You Vaccinate Your Dog?
Vaccines have never been proven to be effective.Vaccinated populations are proven to be more diseased than unvaccinated. Which is pretty ironic when we thought we were giving those vaccines to our dogs to protect them. I guess the million dollar question is, what exactly are you protecting them from? There have never been any safety studies done for any vaccine in use today that would meet the criteria of scientific proof. Question everything because it is now proven that vaccines are doing more harm than good to both us and our pets
The Purdue Vaccination Studies and Auto-antibodies
'Not only are annual boosters unnecessary, but they subject the pet to potential risks such as allergic reactions and immune-mediated haemolytic anaemia. In plain language, veterinary schools in America, plus the American Veterinary Medical Association, have looked at studies to show how long vaccines last and they have concluded and announced that annual vaccination is unnecessary.'
How To Prevent Parvo Naturally
THE INFLUENCE OF NOSODES AND VACCINATION ON PARVOVIRUS SURVIVAL
So, a total of 19 of 47 pups were vaccinated and still got parvo disease (40 percent). Pups receiving nosodes only who contracted the disease had 0 percent mortality, compared to vaccinated pups with 76 per cent mortality. This agrees with the results reported previously in Dogs Naturally. These findings confirmed the impression I had for years that vaccinated pups still get sick with parvo, and when they do, are much less likely to survive the ordeal.
Vaccination Policy and the U.K. Government: The Untold Truth
Dr Tomljenovic and England together have disclosed information surrounding vaccination policy and outlined in detail, using the UK government’s own paperwork, how they strongly believe the UK government has failed in their duty to protect the public by choosing vaccination policy over vaccine safety.
Why I don’t Vaccinate My Dogs At All - Our dogs are in the midst of an epidemic. It’s not an epidemic of viral disease, but of chronic ill health. They’re besieged with itchy, pus-laden, scabby skin; vomit and diarrhoea are the norm. One in every hundred dogs suffers from epilepsy, and an even higher number lives with painful arthritis. Allergies are also reaching epidemic proportions: dogs are becoming allergic to life.
BACKFIRE: How the vaccine industry lost the propaganda war, alienated the public and stirred up suspicion of the entire medical profession
In conclusion, the truth of immunity gave rise to the false belief that an individual can become immune to future infections if they are injected with a foreign antigen. Once the surface is scratched and the layers are peeled, however, vaccines can be called out for bluff based on an intense, in-depth stare. In short: vaccines are the one shot that shoot themselves in the foot.
The research is hard to ignore, vaccines can trigger autoimmunity with a laundry list of diseases to follow. With harmful and toxic metals as some vaccine ingredients, who is susceptible and which individuals are more at risk?
Veterinary groups around the world have introduced new vaccination schedules in response to duration of immunity studies and concerns over vaccine safety. The Pet Welfare Alliance supports these guidelines and welcomes a reduction in the number of vaccine antigens given to companion animals. The aim of this letter is to practically support these aims by asking you to effect change in line with the current established science and guidelines provided by those veterinary bodies.
The Pet Welfare Alliance is an alliance of pet owners and veterinarians formed as a watchdog for the pet products industry. Pet vaccination is one of the foremost areas in need of revision, and we believe that recent developments pave the way for positive change.
It is often believed that annual vaccination is a requirement to establish immunity and that it does no harm.
With the advent of updated science and guidelines by world veterinary bodies, there are clear guidelines to adhere to, that dispell the myth that annual vaccination is necessary, beneficial in providing any further protection in already immune animals, or without risk of causing harm. Details of vaccine adverse reactions can be found in the WSAVA guidelines (see links below) that range from mild (fever, loss of appetite etc), to severe/life-threatening (epilepsy, arthritis, AHA, organ failure).
The World Small Animal Veterinary Association Vaccination Guidelines state:
“Core vaccines should not be given any more frequently than every three years after the 12-month booster injection following the puppy/kitten series because the duration of immunity (DOI) is many years and may be up to the lifetime of the pet. In order to ensure the existence of duration of immunity, titer testing may be used.” Ronald D Schultz, Ph.D., Professor and Chairman, Department of Pathobiological Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin; Member of WSAVA and AAHA vaccine guideline groups
“Only one dose of the modified-live canine ‘core’ vaccine (against CDV, CAV-2 and CPV-2) or modified-live feline ‘core’ vaccine (against FPV, FCV and FHV), when administered at 16 weeks or older, will provide long lasting (many years to a lifetime) immunity in a very high percentage of animals ([Schultz, 1998], [Schultz, 2000] and [Schultz, 2006]).”
In its 2013 puppy vaccine summary, the WSAVA adds: “The WSAVA states that we should vaccinate against the core diseases no more frequently than every three years. This is often taken to mean that we should vaccinate every three years – but this is not the case. If the dog is already immune to these three core diseases, re-vaccinating will not add any extra immunity.”
