Wolf

Meet the very handsome Wolf who is 16mths old and is a typical Black and Tan semi coated lad

Wolf is a typical boisterous teenager who is just loving life and full of energy which isn’t always the best thing when living with very small children although he is good with both he sometimes will knock the toddler over without realising so we think a home with children over 7 would be best

Wolf will bark when somebody comes to the house which is typical of the breed, he is put in the kitchen behind a stair gate and then introduced when the visitor is seated

He was very quick to have a fuss from our volunteer, getting onto her lap and loved her cheese string treats

Although he does like to jump up he is only wanting to be friendly and really doesn’t understand his size

Wolf knows his basic commands and is very food oriented so would be very easy to continue with training, he takes treats very carefully as is used to being around little ones

Wolf was taken for a walk with our volunteer and saw 4 dogs which he barked in excitement to play with, he was again easily distracted with cheese and told his manners with greeting other dogs needs work but not at all aggressive

He just hasn’t been taught which would be easy with an adopter who had previous GSD experience

Wolf currently lives with a dash hound who he’s shared his home with since a pup, we would recommend Wolf is initially is the only pet in the home

We feel this lovely lad would flourish in a home where he’s going to get some training and regular exercise
