WILEY - SURREY

Wiley has been in foster since before Chritmas and is now looking for his forever home.

On arrival at foster he wasn't housetrained. He can now go from 11pm untoil 6.30am without accident.

He still needs some boundaries set but is a young boy and keen to learn. He is much better than when he arrived.  He now understands Sit, Off and down. He is also learning a Down from a distance. He understands Back (when you want him to move back from the door)

He is wary of traffic and of other dogs out of the home. He will react to other dogs so work will need to be put in. We have to reme, ber we had no information on this young man prior to be found as a stray and he isn't even a year old yet. We would guess that he hasn't been introduced to anything so what could be deemed "aggression" towards other dogs when put on a ;lead, could just be frustratiion because he does not know how to sday hello. The foster home are seeking help with his reactivity, so we will learn more about his behaviours.

We feel that he needs his forever home now rather than bonding too much with his foster home and then having the stress of moving on again.

Wiley would like a pet free home, with older large breed savvy children or an adult only home. He needs someone with the experience to work on his reactiveness out of the home and to set boundaries within the home. He is a work in progree but in the right hands will be a credit to the breed.
