STORM - BERKS

This lovely old lad is looking for his retirement home due to the passing od his owner.

He is currently being cared for by a family member but cannot stay indefinitely due to his long work hours.

Storm is a castrated 9 year old boy who is vaccinated and microchipped. 

Storm is said to be good with children of all ages.

Also good with other dogs, gets excited and is keen to meet. His recall is bot that good especially when he sees something more interesting.

Storm is unknown around cats and at his age we feel it best to find a cat free home.

The volunteer had this to say:

Storm is a very healthy looking boy in excellent condition with a silky shiny coat. When I arrived Storm was barking but he eventually calmed down and came to say hello calmly. He bought a toy and took treats very gently. He loves to play with his toys especially a game of tug. He seems an intelligent lad who would thrive with more interaction mental and physical. He is fit and full of purpose for his age.

Out of the home he was excited but easy to manage. He does pull when he sees a dog he wants to say hello to but again not to badly. He ignored people and cyclists going past  He doesn't interact with his carer but with some time training and direction that wouold soon change.

This lad has been throufgh a lot and would  know like a retirement home to rest his paws and enjoy the years that he has left.
