STAR - LONDON

Star is sadly looking for a new home due to her owners ill health. We are hoping to find her 3rd and final home. Her present powner adopted her at around 7 months old from living under a trampoline in a garden.

She is a very much loved young lady but sadly a victim of circumstance.

Star is said tpo be good with children, the owner has grandchildren and she loves them all.

She is unsocialised around other dogs but does live with a little dog, whom she trusts. She is a no to cats.

When the volunteer arrived Star was waiting outside with the owner and they entered the house together.Totally non reactive and withing minutes she was curled up on the sofa demanding cuddles from the volunteer. She does bark when someone knocks at the door.

Star does not like water , hates the bath and the sea.

Star is scared of fireworks.

She is a gentle submissive young lady. She relies on her big "sister" so any adopter should be aware that they will need to build her confidence.  Star is quite strong on a lead, she wears a halti and harness. Off lead she will come back for a ball.  Out walking they went to an enclosed park, where she was let off lead to play with her sister. A dog walked past and she jumped up and barked but the volunteer felt it was nervous excitement  of an under socialised dog. She could easily have jumped the wall but didn't.

In short Star is a gorgeous loving cutie who is a little nervous and will need training and careful introduction to other dogs.
