Ted - Shropshire

URGENT! German Shepherd Dog Ted in Kennels @ GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG RESCUE (GSDR)

URGENT! The BEST German Shepherd Dogs in kennels for YOU that need a loving home in the United Kingdom ***HELP SAVE Ted's Life Today***

Poor Ted has found himself needing a new home due to his current owner having had a stroke. It isn't clear how old Ted is, possibly around 5-8 years of age. What is clear is his need of finding a comfy new environment with someone who can give him the TLC he desperately needs.

Our volunteer found a very sad dog, underweight and with an obvious ear infection. The rescue has paid for him to get veterinary treatment for his ear and whilst he was in foster care they have continued with his treatment for pseudomonas.

Ted has thrived in his foster home and now weighs a magnificent 42 kilos and his coat is gleaming. Going forward we need to find Ted a quiet home, someone who is used to the traits of a dog who is used to getting his own way (he can grumble if he doesn't want to do something ie. move away from the door etc) Ted has had a tough life which started being a travellers dog and then sold on to his second home where they just left him to it and put food on the floor.

Outside Ted is fine being walked on a dogmatic but he is sometimes reactive to other dogs on the lead and will pounce if they get too close. However, he happily shares his foster home with a staffy bitch who Ted is very good around.

Ted is a friendly boy and does love affection he just has to get used to his environment and chill and then he is one very happy boy. He also loves his ears being massaged and being brushed etc Ted is currently in foster but he would love to find a forever home.
