Lovely Shelby is 9 years young and sadly needing a new home due to his owner emigrating in 15th May.
That gives us Just 10 days to find him a home.
Shelby is fine with children .
He has never shown aggression to other dogs but will bark at them. The volunteer met other dogs when out walking but she wasn't concerned by his barking. He is probably just telling them to leave him alone. !!
He barked at the volunteer on her arrival but after a while he settled. He is a little wary of strangers but once he realised the volunteer was a friend he was fine.
Shelby is good on a lead. Off lead he doesn't stray too far. Obviously with a new owner this will take time to build trust.
Shelby does love to play. He can get a bit snappy with balls but it is not intentional he just wants to play.
The volunteer thought that he was a lovely boy, so please if you can offer this lovely lad a lifeline please get in touch.
