Shadow - Yorkshire

Shadow came to us from Romania a few months ago. She's approximately 2-3 years old and is full of energy.

 

When out of her kennel she loves to run around and play ball, although you have to be quick throwing it because she will try and grab the ball off your hands.  She's a very friendly girl who loves attention, but she lacks focus and will jump up and mouth when she gets too excited or anxious. She needs someone to keep calm and collected around her and redirect her attention, with a treat for example and she's learning to calm down and sit.

Being from Romania, we don't know too much about her background, except that she has killed chickens before so a home without cats or small animals would be more suitable for her. 

 

Shadow is a dream to walk on the lead,  she doesnt pull and does not react to other dogs when we go for little group walks, although she has been dog tested and was dominant towards the other dog.

She is not clean in her kennel, so will need a patient owner who can teach her, bring out the confidence in her and show her what the world has to offer.
