Meet the lovely Shadow who is 2yrs old and a typical Black and Tan short coated boy
Shadow is quite small for a lad
When our volunteer knocked the door Shadow did bark initially but came wagging his tail and wanting a fuss
He took treats very gently and sat when asked
When out on the lead he did pull and wanted to sniff everything in sight, he will need some training on the lead as it was hard to get his attention as he was so excited to be out
Shadow is very treat oriented so this will be a great tool to use with training
He currently lives with a 5yr old and could do again
Shadow is fully house trained and can be left for 4hrs
When Shadow saw another dog he was crying and wagging his tail to go and play, he does get over excited but this may be because he just wants to play with every dog and he needs to learn that not all dogs will want to play with him
Shadow lives with another dog and so could share his space again
He walked past cars, lorry’s etc and wasn’t frightened by noise
Shadow does like to pull towards people he sees when out but shows no signs of any aggression and just wants to meet people
We think he doesn’t get out much hence the excitement but with a new home where some boundaries and and training he will be an excellent addition to any home
