Scout is 1 year old neutered male looking for a new home due to the owner’s health and they cannot cope with him.
He is a bright, good-looking boy who hasn’t had the training and discipline he needs and is the boss of the house. He will jump up and nip the hands. This is playful and with little discipline and training, this could easily be corrected.
Scout pulls on the lead initially but will walk reasonably well. He will bark at other dogs while out on a walk but he wants to meet them. He’s never been let off the lead so he needs recall training on a long line.
Scout’s new home will need to be a pet and child-free home.
He will bark and jump when people enter the house so the new owner will need to follow a process of putting him away and slowly introducing him to visitors.
We believe Scout will thrive in a home that can stick to a routine and help with training, discipline and socialisation.
