ROXY - KENT

Roxy is a good looking dog that appears healthy and full of life and energy. She currently demonstrates a lot of anxiety - with people and other dogs. This is a dog that lacks and needs stimulation, structure and reassurance. This is not a cute dog to cuddle up with on the sofa. She demands stimulation constantly with overgrown puppy behaviours.

Roxy did not have the best of starts - she lasted a week with her first owner when they decided she was too much like hard work. She was quite difficult from the start due to her nervousness of everything. She has had a lot of attention from the direct family - and has been fine with the experienced older kids at 10 plus.

She does though  obsess about things, and being so mouthy is not trusted to spend anytime with the youngest family member. Add to this jumping and constant whining - she simply has no manners. She has not had any real training and has had limited socialisation beyond the family. She has developed a lot of learnt behaviours to get attention, and the the current owners have exhausted all their knowledge in trying to tackle the problems. She is just a bit too unpredictable.

Roxy needs an experienced home that can take her back to basics, set the boundaries, be consistent in her training and teach her how to be a dog. She sadly is not the faint hearted but in the right hands will definitely excel and become a loyal companion.

Roxy is crate trained, very food orientated, and still young enough for an experienced owner to sort her out.
