ROXIE - HERTS

Thsi sweet girl is nearly 5 hyears old and sadly looking for a new home due to a change in her owners circumstances.

She is microchipped spayed and vaccinated.

Roxy has not lived with young childrten so we would ask for older children .

She is unknown around cats so we would be looking for a cat free home.

With dogs she can be picky. This could be due to lack of socialisation so work will be needed to introduce her slowly to other dogs. She seems fine with male dogs. We would prefer that she was the only dog in the home.

The volunteer was met by an exciteable Roxy, but she managed to control herself and not jump up. She is far more comfortable with women slightly nervous of men on first meeting.

She pulls slightly on a lead (walkedon a flexi) and her recall is reasonable so again a little work needed here. She is a typical GSD and vocal when on a lead around other dogs.

This young lady is keen and eager to learn, she is a sniffer when out so scentwork or mantrailing would be a good outlet for her.

Sadly due to the length of time she is left daily with family members poppingh in toi check on her she is under exercised and bored.

She needs human interaction and some regualr exercise and we are sure that she will be a much more settled happy girl.

Roxie is a sweet girl who is a little nervous. She would benefit from a calm quiet owner who can bring our her confidence. Whilst not perfect she has oodles of potential in the right home
