Rocky has sadly been returned to rescue as his adopters became scared of him. Rocky would have sensed this. He is now in our kennels and is really not a happy boy. He has become quite anxious but the kennel staff are slowly working their magic.

He is a young boy who is going through his terrible 2's. He has been fine with other dogs and has always been walked off lead but there was an incident just before christmas with another dog who got bitten. His owners now don't trust him and don't now let him off lead. He guards his home and the voilunteer was met by Rocky behine a child gate giving it large. Once he had a sniff and was let out he charged to say hello and tried to nip her toes. She gave a firm no command and he backed away.

Rocky was perfect when out. He walked nicely on the lead and didn't react to anything that went past. The owners say that he is an affectionate boy and we think in the right hands he will grow into a wonderful boy. He is bound to test boundaries but in a calm confident home he will learn how to behave properly.

Can you offer this boy his forever home ? If so PLEASE remember he will take time to settle. He doesn't know you and will want to assess his situation . He may not want to be cuddled and over faced but want to take his time to come to you. Please respect his decisions as moving forward he will give you his total loyalty.
