Raya

Meet Raya whose nearly 4 and has the most loveliest nature

Raya is being rehomed due to a relationship breakdown and being left for long hours

Raya is a small shepherd who is a Black and Tan short coat, she is not spayed

Raya is currently living in the home with small children and is excellent with them, she could live with children from 3 upwards

Raya will bark when somebody knocks the door but welcomes them in and is extremely friendly when she greets people

Raya has a skin allergy and so is fed duck and potato grain free dried food, she reacts to fish and lamb

Raya hasn’t been walked much more recently and does pull on the lead, she has very little recall so has not been let off the lead, in her new home she would need this worked on as she is eager to learn and in the right home would flourish

Her new home must keep the main doors locked as Raya can open doors and has escaped, we think this though is due to the fact she’s not getting out and is bored

Raya could do with being walked on a halti due to her pulling

She did bark when she passed a small dog but the volunteer thinks this is excitement rather than aggression

Raya has no issues with traffic or busy roads but requires guidance and training as she thinks it’s ok to walk on the road

Raya is great at the vets

Raya hasn’t been tested with cats

She ideally needs a home where she’s the only dog initially in the home with adopters who have the time and commitment to put in the training that Raya needs

Raya really is a wonderful girl who would suit many homes where there are young children
