Max - Nottinghamshire

Max - Nottinghamshire
What an absolute gent we have in Max, a super friendly 5-year-old boy who is sadly looking to be re-homed due to elderly owners ill health. He greeted our volunteers very well and was happy to have a fuss and more than happy to go for a walk with virtual strangers (which shows what a lovely temperament he has). On the walk, he was a little strong but nothing OTT and all in all a joy to walk. We are told he doesn't get out much now; sometimes a friend will take him out, most of the time Max amuses himself in the back garden. Max doesn't meet very many other dogs, and we believe he was jumped on by a lurcher recently, but Max didn't retaliate. Going forward a routine and socialisation should get this wonderful boy back into the swing of things pretty quickly. Max is crate trained, though it isn't used much. All in all, Max is described as an absolute sweetheart of a dog, friendly, affection, bright and loving. Hopefully, he finds a forever home asap.
