Meet princess who is a lovely nearly three year old Black and Tan short coat whose currently not spayed
Princess is being rehomed through no fault of her own her owner is unwell and unable to care for her
When our volunteer arrived at the property Princess was in the garden, she was on a long line and was excited so jumped up and sniffed her all over, she did calm down after a few minutes, she showed no signs of aggression
Princess was exceptionally gentle with the young toddler in the home, she was giving him kisses and watching what he was doing
She lives with young children so would be able to share her home again with children over 7
Princess knows her basic commands and has great recall but could do with having some boundaries setting
We feel she is lacking in confidence and stimulation so she’s bored quite a lot
When out for a walk she did bark and pull towards other dogs but the volunteer felt that this was through anxiety and frustration and of course the obvious lack of socialisation so initially she needs to be the only pet in the home
She felt that with a confident experienced owner princess would become good with other dogs and find that she would gain so much enjoyment by having a canine friend in the future
She is fine with loud noises and fire works
Princess definitely doesn’t like cats
This lovely girl has so much love to give and would flourish in an experienced home where somebody is going to take the time with her and train her, set boundaries and instil confidence
