Sam - Port Talbot

This lovely lad is Sam who is 7 years old and neutered.

When our volunteer visited Sam was very friendly, happy and well behaved, he just loves getting attention. He barked when she knocked bu was fine with her when she entered.

There was a young child present with whom he was fine, Sam loves children.

Sam likes to look out of the window and was very interested in who was walking past but did not bark although his owners say that occasionally he does.

Sam has opened the patio door before and escaped but a neighbour took him in until the owners could be contacted. The neighbour had a dog and Sam had a great time playing with it although his owners say that he is selective about other dogs.

He has been a bit off with other dogs outside the home if they get his ball but will have other dogs come into his home and been quite happy to play with them.

He doesn't like cats.

He is long-coated so needs to be groomed properly and his ears need cleaning regularly.

Sam is bored out of his mind because he is not getting the exercise he needs and his current owners don't have time for him so he is stressed and is a bit naughty. It really isn't his fault, he is a lovely dog that just needs a bit of extra training and someone to spend some quality time with him.

Can you offer Sam a home where he will get exercised properly and have someone prepared to spend time with him?
