OWNER IS MOVING AND PETAL NEEDS A NEW HOME BY MID JANUARY
Petal is a Black and tan short haired young lady desperately looking for a calm confident home as a matter of urgency. The current environment that she is living is is becoming detrimantal to her and her anxiety levels are soring.
Petal is very protective of her owner so when the volunteer arrived Petals dog walker bought her put to meet her. She initially barked at the volunteer but they went off for a walk. As they live in the middle of nowhere they met no one. She is said to have good recall walks not to bad for the dog walker and gets on well with the dogs that she is exercised with. The issue is her owner who feeds all her anxieties into Petal.
They went into the house to fill out the forms and Petal started barking LOUDLY if you are not used to a shepherd it would be rather intimidating but she eventually settled but was never off guard and as soon as an arm was raised or a leg moved she was off again.
She respnds extremely well to a calm confident person. She really needs a relaxed home to destress.
Petal is a very pretty girl who is very sweet once she accepts you. She LOVES attention and we believe in a calm environment with confident people she will settle well.
