Young Paolo is sadly looking for a new home due to a drastic change in his owners circumstances. He has been in kennels as cannot live in his owners current home and he has not been coping to well.
He was originally imported from Spain when he was around 4 months old and has lived a very happy loved life until now.
He is said to be great with children of all ages. He has lived with another dog but can be a little reactive when on lead. If a dog reacts to him he will bark back. He is untested around cats.
Paolo is vaccinated and microchipped but is still entire.
The volunteer had the following to say.....
What a lovely calm boy. I arrived to no barking just a wagging tail. He greeted me very nicely then took himself off to lie down. He was very interedsted in my treats and sat straight away and offered his paw. He is a very streamline boy who shows not an ounce of aggression towards people. He calmly lives with another dog.
Whilst out walking it is obvious that he needs some lead training. and would probably benefit from a headcoller of some sort. Whilst not extreme he does pull. Being very treat orientated this should make training nice and easy. His recall is also in need of some work. In a secure field with no distractions it is PERFECT !!!! but not in the local park.....selective hearing springs to mind if there is something more exciting to investigate.
Paolo would like someone who has time to spend with him, who can work on those little things that will make him the perfect companion. He maybe a cross but he is delightful..
