*** Odin Needs a New Home ***

 

Odin is a 5 year old GSD who finds himself looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of his own.

 

Odin is such a happy dog and perfect when our volunteer arrived he was mega pleased to see him.

 

This is what our volunteer had to say about him. Odin is a lovely boy, but he’s bored and it’s making him a bit stressed. He’s from working lines and will be perfect in an active home where they can give him the exercise and use his mind a lot more. Odin is great with children he has lived with young ones.

 

Odin is good with dogs and a family member often visits with their Pug and they get on well. Out walking, Odin, can be interested in dogs and has a bit of barrier frustration, but is not reactive. We had 2 offlead Ridgebacks run up to us and Odin lay on the ground. When he got up he just sniffed the other dogs and did want to run after them when they left. He’s pretty good on the lead a bit scatty to start with but soon settles.

 

Good with visitors but can stand on back legs and put front paws on you, but no jumping as such.

 

All-in-all, Odin is a well balanced dog that has so much love to give. He will thrive in a more active home where his owners have the time to continue his training and give him the life he so deserves.
