Experienced home required for this young boy, he is 8 months old full of mischief and bundles of energy that needs to be channelled. He currently isn’t clear about what’s acceptable behaviour, which means he thinks everything is a game, if he doesn’t get what he wants he then starts mouthing, this needs addressing. There is no malice in Rex he just doesn’t know when to stop.
He does pull on the lead so will need help/training to understand how to walk nicely. He shows interest in other dogs but only to interact/play. He loves to chase a ball and happy to bring this back to continue the game. Recall will need more work but Rex is motivated by food so some high value treats will work wonders to help improve him coming back.
Rex would benefit from living with a well balanced brother or sister to help build his confidence when out and about.
We would not rehome him with young children as Rex needs to be priority in the household as he needs a confident, calm owner who has the time to devote to his training/socialising.
Rex is a real sweetheart and with the right guidance and direction will be a super dog.
