Kai is a lovely three year old boy looking for a new home due to a change in his owner's circumstances. Kai is a friendly boy who greeted our volunteer with a little bark but soon settled and was more than happy to get some attention. He can jump up at visitors when he gets too excited but responds well to commands.
This gorgeous lad has lived with several cats and gets along well with them. He has also lived with children so can be rehomed with a family, although he gets nervous when his personal space is being invaded so boundaries will have to be put in place.
Kai is a clever boy who has been to classes and will benefit from continuing his training with his new owner. He has plenty of energy and can be strong on the lead. He is reactive to strange dogs when out on a walk but only because they make him nervous. He does settle when told to. He has lived with a female before and took his confidence from her so he would be happy living with a well balanced dog.
We are looking for a confident owner for Kai to help him build his confidence when out on walks but also in the house. Kai suffers from seperation anxiety and doesn't like to be confined to a room - he will try and open doors. This lovely boy would love someone who can spend a lot of time at home with him and help him overcome his anxieties. He's a truly lovely lad who will make a great addition to a family.
