Meet Ava who is 4 year old GSD cross Belgian Malinois
Ava is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Ava has not had much of a life and is looking for a forever home where she can flourish.
She is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own. Her current owners took on Ava from a family member because one of the children was teasing Ava. Her current owners are past retirement age and they cannot walk far. Ava is overweight because she is not being exercised.
Our volunteer said Ava is a very friendly girl who loves people. She doesn’t jump up when people come to the house. She is perfect in the home.
Ava will require an experienced home that is prepared to help her with reactivity towards other dogs outside the home.
She will need a pet free home. She can live with older children.
Ava walks on a harness and doesn’t pull on the lead. She will need further recall training as she only comes back for her ball.
She can be left for 2-3 hours and doesn’t chew.
