Meet Ron

Ron is a GSD/Cross Husky who is 6 months old.

Poor Ron was rescued from a puppy mill at 13 weeks old by a lady who couldn’t continue with care. Ron has been with our fosterer for 3 months which has helped with his confidence.

Ron suffers from separation anxiety and doesnt do well being left in a crate. So we are looking for somebody who works from home or is retired to be around all the time to work on this.

The fosterer walks him on a Dogmatic and he walks lovely on a loose lead until something grabs his attention. He can be distracted by food.

He plays with the foster’s other dogs so he would happily live with another female and male.

Ron is housetrained and will let you know when he wants to go out by nudging.

He can be very boisterous so we wouldn’t rehome him where there are young children.

Ron does have an umbilical hernia which will need treatment in the future possibly when he is castrated.

We are looking for someone who can work on his socialisation. At first, he is very nervous of new people and dogs but soon settles down with the correct kind of handling. He just needs that extra special person to give him confidence.  So he will need an experienced owner capable of firm sympathetic training.
