NESSIE - OXFORDSHIRE

Meet the lovely Nessie who is sadly looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She is sadly no longer getting what she needs due to a drastic change in her owners circumstances.

I found Nessie to be a lovely girl who was very excited to see me. She was jumping up and demanding attention, no signs of aggression. She does mouth but it is gentle and almost her way of gaining attention.

Nessie knows basic commands but has never had formal training or been to any classes. There is no real consistency in her life just chaos.

She currently lives with children and loves them. She is very good with them. 

She is said to be picky with other dogs, some she is fine with others she will react to.

Nessie has never been off lead so has no recall. She walks on a headcollar and doesn't really pull. She doesn't react to traffic as currently lives on a busy main road. She was alert to people and other dogs but there was no reation whilst we were out, She was more interested in sniffing. I believe that she would love to chase small furries, so this must be taken into consideration, and she will need recall training.

She currently escapes from her garden and plays with the next doors collie. She has escaped out onto the road but has luckily been caught and returned by the neighbours.

Nessie is a lovely girl if a little over exciteable who needs a young energetic family who want to be out doing and taking her with them. She would be happy to go to the pub, or a cafe. Loves the sea although not keen on a bath !! Likes the hose. 

A little work on manners and setting boudaries,with calm confident adopters and she will be perfect.
