Maisie

Maisie had been booked into the vets to be euthanised so we had to pull her as an emergency. She is not doing well in kennels, she is shutting down and needs out asap.

Her only crime is she chased a cow in the field next to the caravan she has been living in

Her current owner is elderly and has been threatened by the farmer

Poor Maisie was sold to this environment when she was 11mths old, she is now 2

Maisie barked when our volunteer went to see her today but very quickly wanted to give our Sue a good old sniff and wanted the treats she had

Maisie was good as gold while they completed the assessment sitting next to Sue and wanting fuss

Maisie was very interested and wagged her tail when she was introduced to Sue’s dog but her owner pulled her away and she then barked so we think

Maisie would be best as an only dog initially and then introduced to other dogs and things gradually

Maisie really hasn’t seen much in life but her little spirit is desperate to be in a home where she is loved and can learn

We don’t know what Maisie is like with cats and we wouldn’t place her in a home where there are children under 10

If you want to adopt Maisie, please complete an adoption form.
