MAISIE - HAMPSHIRE

Maisie is sadly looking for a new home due to a drastic change in circumstances.

Maisie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Children: Maisie is fine with children from the age of 6 years.

Dogs: She is not very good with dogs and she has been in a couple of scraps. Havind said that whist out walking with the volunteer she met a dog she knew with no reaction and saw many more dogs again with no reaction. She will need to be the only pet in the home to start. Any introductions to new dogs should be slow

Cats: She is a no to cats.

Livestock: she has not been near livesstock so care should be taken if walking her near.

Barking: Maisie will bark when nervous or when strangers enter her home. She needs time to assess them after which she will happily take treats and settle.

Water: Not a fan of water !!

House trainerd: yes and she will stand by the door if she needs to go out.

Lead/Recall: Maisie walks well on a lead but has selectiev recall. Again work will be needed in this area.

In summary : Maisie is a lovely girl who needs the right home. She is currently under stimulated mentally and physically. She is also in need of a good groom.

Maisie needs a family who have the time to set her boundaries and show her how to be the best version of her. She is not a nasty dog just needs a little more work especially with strangers. An easy fix ion the right hands.
