This young lady is sadly in need of a new home as she really does not like the resident cats.
Maeva is just a year old and currently lives with children and 2 small dogs. She has not had any real issues with the resident dogs.
Maeva was very excited to meet the volunteer and jumped up in welcome. It took her about 10 minutes to calm down and then lay quite happily at her owners feet whilst the form was filled out.
She is crate trained and when the owners are out she is crated. She is also crated when the cats are around. 3 of the cats she is ok with as they are dog savvy and confident but the others she will try to chase and scare as they are anxious and scared of her.
Whilst she gets on with the resident dogs she will bark at dogs that pass when she is in the car and if she meets strange dogs when out walkiing.
She is never off elad but walked on a long line. She will recall for food or a toy. Maevas has been to training and also doggy daycare. With some work this young lady we are sure can be socialised with other dogs out of the home.
She is an all round lovely girl who just needs a little work in the outside world. A calm confident handler who can introduce her to the world. We feel that she needs to be the only dog ion the home to start with, so that she gets the attention she needs.
Can you give this lovely girl her new home
