Lupo is a stunning 7 year old entire white GSD x Husky. He is a wonderful family dog who is great with all people.
This is a very sad rehome and his owner only wants what is best for him. She accepts responsibility for Lupo who has escaped his garden twice, the first time worrying the sheep but sadly the second time he injured the sheep, so it is either rehome or euthanise.
The volunteer says there really is nothing not to like, he is gentle and loving. Greeted her nicely, no barking or jumping.
Lupo because of his prey drive is never let off lead. He is walked on an extendable lead and is very used to this. He is fine with most dogs that he meets, although not a fan of other entire males and if they growl or bark at him he apparently just carries on walking
He also lives with a cat but the owner says that he would probably chase a cat outside of the home. We would only consider a cat home if the adopters were very experienced in introducing cats to unknown dogs.
We would happily rehome with children over the age of 10 who have lived with a large breed
He currently lives in a very rural area, so an urban home may not be the best for him. He will need an active family who enjoy adventures in the outdoors and would be happy to take Lupo with them
