Luna is 3 years old and is looking for a new home as she doesn't get along with the other dog in the home anymore. She is a very nervous girl who is very uncomfortable with visitors, so much so that she becomes very vocal and growls at them.
Luna might take a while to feel at ease with her new owners, but a new home will also be a chance for her to hit the reset button and get rid of some of her learned behaviours. She will require patience and love and slow introductions to new people where she can approach them at her own pace. She might also like to have a room or a crate she can take herself to whenever she feels uncomfortable with a visitor or a situation.
In the outside world, Luna is a different dog – she doesn't really pay notice to people and walks past other dogs OK. She has never been off lead.
Luna is a special girl who is looking for someone who will accept her the way she is while also trying to help her overcome her anxieties. She is a clever girl who knows all basic commands and has a lot of love to give once she knows you. She cannot live with cats and would be happy in a home with older teenagers who know to give her some space at first and keep off her food and toys.
