Luna is a short haired rather lovely looking shepherd who is vaccinated and microchipped.
She is sadly looking for a new home as her owners sadly cannot afford her upkeep or training.
The volunteer was met by an inquisitive young lady who was keen to say hello, but no jumping or desire to get out of the property. Luna seems to have had quite a turbulent life to date. She was with the breeder till she was 6 months old, no socialisation or being introduced to the world. The owners took her on and initially Luna went to work with her. As she got a little older she did a typical puberty thing and started reacting to other dogs. Owners circumstances changed and Luna went to live with someone else for a couple of months. Sadly she came back being more extreme outside.
Luna is a delight in the home and lives with young children without issue. Her problems are in the outside world. She is reactive to other dogs and this is where the owners are struggling. They feel she would be better suited to an experienced home that can give her the life that she so deserves.
In short a lovely young lady who has missed out on socialisation with other dogs. She is great in the home and especially with the kids, but due to her reaction outside she is walked when no one is around. A few more boundaries and manners needed in the home but work in the outdoors needs time and patience. She will become a delightful young lady in the right hands.
