Lovely Lucy is 5 years old and when her owner passed away she was put into kennels.She then stayed with a lady who had other dogs but sadly too many and she didn't have enough time to give Lucy what she needed.
We believe that Lucy led a very sheltered life and because of that she is very nervous in the kennels.. She will turn tail and run rather than be confronted. Having said that although still nervy she is building a bond slowly with the staff
Lucy in a home is just the sweetest soul. She comes out of her shell very quickly and bonds with her owners. She is very worried about being seperated from her humans so this will need some work. If left even for a atter of minutes she will howl. Her foster carer is working very slowly with this but Rome wasn't built in a day, and it could take a long time.
We are looking for someone who wants a 24/7 companion. Lucy will want to go everywhere with you and she will be the best friend that you coujld ever ask for.
We think that Lucy would be suited as an only dog, as she is very needy and wants all the attention.
