???? Lucia is a stunning German Shepherd with an incredible spirit. For the first three years of her life, she was sadly kept on a chain tied to a tree in a graveyard. Since moving into a foster home, she has made wonderful progress and is really beginning to flourish.
? Her progress so far:
• Fully house trained
• Has never shown destructive behavior
• Can be left alone for several hours without issue
• Walks beautifully on a halti lead without pulling
• Absolutely adores people and thrives on love and attention.
Lucia still has her bursts of exuberance, so she will benefit from continued training, but her willingness to learn is amazing.
???? What she needs in a forever home:
• To be the only dog in the household (no small furries, please)
• Someone with experience of larger breeds • A committed owner with the time and energy to continue her training.
Although she tolerates the other foster dogs in her current home and enjoys walking with them, she prefers her own space and isn’t comfortable with dogs getting too close. Lucia is an intelligent, affectionate, and loyal girl who, with the right person, will make the most amazing lifelong companion.
