Lucca - Norfolk

Lucca is a lovely boy, in potential. He is big, lively, has no manners and doesn't know how to walk on a lead and has no recall off lead. But none of this is his fault. He is owned by elderly owners who have been hampered in getting the help that they needed in training him by the pandemic. He is just untrained and has got above himself.

Lucca has no malice in him. He chased a hare once and ended up in a field of sheep. He only wanted to play with them then. He didn't know how dangerous this was. Since this incident, he is not allowed off lead. So, as well as inadequate training, you can add frustration and lack of an outlet for his energy to the picture.

This poor lad deserves young active owners, who can establish boundaries and channel his energy - possibly into agility work or canni cross. He would enjoy a rigorous training regime and some mind work. He has not had a chance to explore his potential and live his best life.

Having said that he has no malice, he will still not be a push over. He is large and boisterous and still puppy mouths to the extent that he leaves bruises. He is seriously in need of discipline, which is always harder to initiate, once a dog has found out that he can get away with being a yob. We are looking for a child free energetic experienced home for this boy. He needs a while at boot camp and then he will have the social skills to enjoy a full life of work and play.

Are you up to this challenge? Are you able to change lively Lucca into a lovely Lucca?
