Lexi - Lancashire

Lexi is a super friendly 4 year old who happily lives with children and cats. Unfortunately she is looking to be re homed due to a change in work patterns and owners feel she would be best with someone who is around to give Lexi the attention she adores. She greeted our volunteer with a leap and a jump but when told did stay down therefore going forward this will need a little more training. Outside she is walked on a halti lead and walks very well, off lead she has good re call unless distracted. Lexi lives with cats and has no problem around them. All in all a lovely family dog who has basic commands and just needs work on that initial jumping up with excitement when she first sees a human. Also we are told that Lexi has nipped a postman on the backside when the door was open and she saw him coming up the drive, she didnt do any damage and no further action was taken - basically she was just protecting her home. Our volunteer thought Lexi was a sweetheart and would make a wonderful companion as she was happy to be next to you and lie on your feet!
