Kodi - Yorkshire

Meet the lovely Kodi. She is 4 years old and needs a new home after a change in her previous owners' living arrangements. Kodi is a nervous girl and was very vocal when our volunteer went to meet her. She barks and lunges at visitors she doesn't know, but only out of fear, not aggression. When our volunteer sat down, she calmed down and came up to them for strokes, although still a little bit unsure. 
Kodi lacks confidence and gets stressed around strangers, but once she knows you she shows what a softie she is and how much she loves cuddles. Due to her nervousness, she cannot be rehomed with young children. She could live with dog savvy teenagers who know to give her some space at first.
Our volunteer took Kodi out for a walk. She pulled on the lead at first but then looked at them for guidance. She really needs a patient and confident owner who can make her feel safe and help her gain her own confidence.
Kodi currently lives with another dog although they are being kept separated as she tends to snap at him. She could potentially live with a well balanced, confident male to show her the ropes. 
This beautiful girl is good in the home and very loving with the people she knows. She just needs the opportunity to grow in confidence and into herself to show how lovely she is.
