KODA - KENT

Koda is just over 2 years pold and sadly looking for a new home due to a change in his owners ciircumstances.

An entire boy who is vaccinated and microchipped.

Koda has not lived with children but has had visiting children and been fine. Due to his size and vitality for life we would say older children.

He has not been well socialised but has a couple of dog friends. Any dogs that he meets out he is said to be extremely reactive but the volunteer felt that their was no aggression just an exciteable boy who wants to say hello. He can be over the top as he doesn't understand how to say hello to other dogs.

He has not lived with cats.

The volunteer was barked at on arrival, Koda was full of himself at the door very excited to see him, jumping up and licking him but no aggression.

Koda has not been off lead. He is very strong on the lead so this will need some work. His recall is unreliable so again work will be needed. He knows basic commands.

He is obsessed with his ball, but will hand it over with a quizzical look. When out he isn't really food focussed so training will be a little more difficult. He is a handful when out but with training and carrying through on commands he will very quickly learn what is expected of him.

The volunteer would have happily taken him home had he had space. He feels that Koda is just a 40kg puppy who would benefit from structure and training. Not a difficult fix. A beautiful boy for anyone williing to put in a bit of work
