Reg is a rather large young GSD. On first meeting the volunteer thought that he was a cross but the paperwork was seen stating he is a pure GSD. He has a broad back massive feet a shorter nose and a floppy ear. All these characteristics make him a gorgeous unique boy. One stocky young man.
He is quite protective of his owner and with changes in the home that has become more obvious. He may just pick up on the differing behaviours.
He is microchipped and neutered but cvaccines are out of date.
Reg currently lives with children from 3 uopwards. In the home is is a gentle giant, polite no jumping. He likes to offer his paw to everyone but is very gentle in doing so. Visitors are invited in without fuss.
Out of the home Reg needs some work on his lead. He is let off lead as long as not too close to other dogs. He loves his ball and will ignore most things if that is being thrown.
Reg is settled and happy in his current home, he is great with the kids but with so many youngsters his life is a mix of chaos and being left for long periods whilst mum is out at work.When the owner is home he follows her everywhere but rather than setting some boundaries she allows this behaviour as she feels it makes him happier.
We feel that Reg will be happier and fitter withour sharing his owner with so many young children. He is an impressively stocky boy who needs more physical and mental stimulation. In short he does need some work especially in the outside world, lead, socialisation etc.
