Kaiser – Suffolk

Kaiser, a lovely old man

Poor Kaiser, he has not had the best of luck recently. His long-term owner had to sell his house and couldn't take him with him to rented accommodation. Then, GSDR found Kaiser a wonderful foster home and he adores being there.

The only problem is that he does not get along with the other dogs there. He was separated, initially, so that they could get to know him. We were told that he would get along with dogs, if introduced and given time to get to know the dog. But no. Kaiser will not share and says that he needs a home on his own where he gets ALL the attention.

Apart from this quirk Kaiser is a complete sweetheart. He is happy and affectionate and walks very well. His elderly foster carer can manage to walk him herself. He loves the garden and is happy pottering - alone!

Kaiser could be fostered or adopted. His present foster carer will give a detailed report of him to anyone interested. She is heartbroken to have to let him go but says that it is not in his best interests to live a life, where he is constrained by the need to be separated. She will not let him go to kennels.

Will you give Kaiser a chance?
