KAISER - HERTS

Kaiser is nearly 8 years old and now looking for his retirement home as he is no longer wanted by his family.

Kaiser is vaccinated, microchipped and castrated.

Kaiser was adopted through another rescue by his owner when he was 2 years old. He has lived as part od his family for the last 6 years, but a year ago his owner gor married to a lady who has 2 dachunds, Kaiser is not trusted around them so his owner moved in with his wife leaving Kaiser in the family home with the eldest daughter. She is now moving so Kaiser must go.

Kaiser is always muzzled when out, whether he is reactive is unknown but we think the owner is anxious and the muzzle is a protection to keep Kaiser safe.

Kaiser has not lived with children only young adults

With regards to other dogs none were met when out with the volunteer. The owner only said that when another dog barks at him he will bark back. Whether he would take it any further she doesn't think so but it is unknown. He walks well with 2 dachunds but is muzzled.

He is a no to cxats as has never been tested. He ignores livestock but is always on a lead.

He is never off lead, on the roads he is walked on a short lead but in the coutryside is on a long line so does have the ability to  o off and sniff. Recall is unknown. He is happy to go out and quite laid back.

Kaiser can be left for up to 4 hours. He currently lives in a cul-de-sac of about 6 houses. All the neighbours know Kaiser as they go and see him daily when he is on his own.

Kaiser is used to the groomers but he is in desperate need of a good groom at present.

In short Kaiser is a lovely lad who iks happy with his own company but will come for a cuddle when he wants to. When he has had enough he will take himself off and settle down.

Sadly Kaiser is just no longer needed or wanted. He is in desperate need of some TLC with a family or person that actually wants him and to spend quality time with him. We don't think that he is walked daily as his muscles behind are not the strongest, so we do not want a family who want to walk miles and miles. He needs to be built up slowly.

Kaiser is a lovely unassuming boy who has just been left behind. He is not a pushy dog he is just looking for a kind soul to offer him his retirement home. He still has lots of life in him but just needs to be built up slowly. Kaiser is not nervous just happy to take everything in his stride.

Can you offer this gorgeous boy his lifeline.....
