Jethro Romanian Rescue GSD

JETHRO - OLDER GSD RESCUED FROM HELL!

We hope someone will like him and take him out of kennels into a home sooner rather than later as he is an old boy with a harsh past. Although he spent many years in the terrible Public Shelter in Romania, he hasn't lost any of his zest for life and has many things to give, like love and lots of fun! He certainly won the hearts of his rescuers in Romania

Now Rehomed

Jethro in his 1m square prison where he spent many years

Jethro had lost the will to live and had given up so GSDR agreed to help. The dogs in these shelters are never let outside in the yard not even for 5 minutes, some spend years like this. There are just a few that some volunteers know well and let free in the yard on Sundays, small sizes usually. They eat every other day, a small amount, most times one raw organ like a raw pig kidney or such is their entire meal for the day, and their poop has a weird unhealthy black colour because of that

Jethro looking much happier

Jethro was taken from the awful public shelter to a private shelter where as you can see, he is much happier. We do believe that he is smiling here and enjoying his freedom

Smiley was also neutered and he has his own passport

Jethro enjoying being able to move around and mix with other dogs.

We are reliably informed that Jethro is much more handsome in the flesh and that he is awesome, intelligent, happy, good with people and quite cheeky.

Jethro on his way to the UK

Jethro on the transport and on his way to safety to the UK. He is neutered and has his own passport.

Sadly we couldn't find a foster home for Jethro and he has had to go into kennels. He doesn't deserve to be in kennels because he is a lovely friendly affectionate boy

If you think you can offer a good home to this lovely boy, Please ring Jayne on 01568 797957 or email
