Jazz - Leicestershire

Jazz (Jazmine) is complicated. Well, she is a bitch and this happens. There are compensations but we have to say that Jazz poses problems.

She is being rehomed because, when left, she becomes dominant with other bitches and has seriously attacked them. Generally she is good with dogs and our assessor saw her playing with happily another dog. Her dominance has led to quite serious injury and so she needs to be kept separate from other bitches and now, sadly, leads a segregated life. This is the only reason that her owners feel that she should be rehomed. They are devastated that this entrenched behavioural trait has led to this. It is a bitch thing and we come across this often. Sadly, it is as it is.

The real challenge for any prospective adopter is that Jazz is extremely nervous. Our assessor could only touch her with help throughout his visit. Her timidity is a real issue to the extent that her owners think that it would be necessary for any prospective adopter to be local enough to visit several times to gain her confidence before attempting to take her from the house. We have had similar predicaments in the past and they have worked well.

Jazz is a challenge but so worthwhile. Will you work with her and bring her through?
