Jackson - Derbyshire

This handsome lad is Jackson who will be 3yrs old in July

Jackson is a Sandy and black short coat who is neutered

Jackson really is quite desperate for a loving home where he has company as he’s currently left for long days while his current owners are at work

Jackson currently lives with 2 cats and a frenchy who he gets on well with, he could live with cats but we would recommend he is the only dog in the home and he can be slowly socialised and get used to having the company of other dogs

He’s strong on the lead but this is due to him not getting out for walks and so with regular exercise this will get much better

Jackson shows no signs of aggression towards other dogs, he will bark and wags his tail and so with his new adopter he could quite easily be great when out after getting used to the frequency of walks

He was great when our volunteer visited, he barked initially behind a baby gate and was extremely friendly, once he had a sniff he took himself off to his bed and sat quietly

Jackson will need some training but has a lovely temperament and is super friendly so with an adopter who has the time he will be fantastic.

Jackson is fully toilet trained and vaccinated

He is not great at the vets due to an unfortunate incident at the vets so he will need some time to get used to the vets and might need taking there a few times

We recommend children over 10

Jackson really hasn’t had the life he deserves to days and so we are hoping that an adopter will take him under their wing and show him what he’s been missing
