Jack - Sunderland

** JACK NEEDS A HOME **

Jack is approx 4, he’s a nice, straight backed GSD, very foody. Will need an experienced foster/adopter who can be fairly hands off with him and give him time to figure out his new circumstances. He’s been in kennels since February, tries to be clean, isn’t too strong on lead. He probably wants to be left alone while he is eating, but isn’t aggressive around food, he just doesn’t want to be faffed about with while he is eating. He really deserves a chance to get out of kennels. Before coming here, he was a house dog, his owner became ill and now is unable to have him home so Jack’s life really has been stood on its head. Jack will react to a dog who reacts first to him, but is otherwise pretty dog neutral. I get the impression he hasn’t seen that much of life. The first time he saw a horse here he was transfixed. He is not aggressive towards people, might possibly be a bit better with women than men but that might also just be that we have more female staff here. He has really grown on me since I’ve started working with him and I feel he deserves a chance to be the loyal pet that he probably once was.
