Izzy Rescue German Shepherd Dog

Izzy - needs a home to call her own now.

This is the gorgeous Izzie.  A loyal, affectionate 6 yr old blue/sable girl. She is currently in foster, is very well house trained, has good basic commands but needs work on her recall. She is vocal with people coming to the house when her people are at home, otherwise, she is quiet when on her own. She walks nicely on a lead and will generally ignore people and other dogs whilst out on her walks

REHOMED

Izzy is ready to go to her forever home but it does need to be a home that has had a GSD before and understands the breed. Izzy is a lovely girl and now deserves to have a home of her own.

Izzy is a very big, very pretty blue sable girl

In her current foster home, Izzy has now lost her excess pounds and is looking good. She has been getting regular long walks and she is fit now. Does get on with some dogs but would be best to be rehomed as an only dog, definitely no to cats and ideally with older children. She loves chasing squirrels!

OK, mum, I'm happy to help you pick these things - but I don't like dandelion wine!!

Izzy loves to play ball

This is Izzy's favourite toy - the running egg.

Izz Wizz - you are not meant to swallow it!!

Look mum - I did it!!

She has an undershot lower jaw but eats well and as you can see, she picks up her balls, toys with no problems.  She has no food, bed or toy aggression. She is crate trained and travels well in a car if crated.

Ideal home for Izzy would be with a couple or a family with teenage children. We think a more rural location would be better for Izzy. Owners must be calm but firm with Izzy and she would benefit from some additional obedience training. If you let her, she will pull on the lead and she is very strong. We think she would be better as an only dog.
