Ivar is sadly in need of a new home due to a drastic change in his owners circumstances
Ivar has not lived with children but has been fine with children withing the family. Due to this we would rehome Ivar with older children.
Ivar is fine with the family dogs that he is currently living with.
He is a no to cats but is unknown around livestock.
Ivar is housetrained. He spends a lot of time in and out of the house.
The volunteer found a very friendly boy who barked once but with no aggression, just pleased to have a visitor.
The volunteer witnessed him interacting wiuth the other resident dogs with whom he was fine. He shows no signs of food or toy guarding.
Ivar had a slight limp when he was about 5 months old and the vets thought that he should be Xrayed. He has "mild laxation " in his hips BUT with the right exercise he will live a long full life withour intervention. There was no recomendation for surgery just hydro threrapy. It could just be that he was growing.
The volunteer witnessed him in the field and could see no cause for cincern. He looks fit and healthy and moves well.
