Currently this lovely boy lives in a very rural home, literally the middle of nowhere as the volunteer discovered.
Horus is sadly in need of a new home as his owners circumstances have changed. He is a 3 year old entire boy.
Her was taken on by his present owners when he was 5 months old. Since he has been with them he has not been vaccinated or even been registered with a vet. The owners are very hollistic and also raw feed.
The volunteer was greeted beautifully by Horus who took treats gently and at no time did she feel threatened. He is a gorgeous Black and rich gold in colour, a very handsome boy.
As with many GSD's he can be reactive on lead and is said not to get on with other dogs. The owner says that he growls at them but does nothing else. This could come from the fact that he just hasn't met any dogs outside of the home due to the rural setting in which he lives. He dogs currently live with a sdmall black dog that he gets on very well with. He has never been nasty or retaliated to this lottle dog when nipped.
Horus has not lived with children or cats so we would only look at homes with older big dog savvy children and no cats. We would also want him to be the only dog in the home to start with.
Whilst Horus is a dream of a boy he needs top be in an experienced home. He also needs to live in a rural setting. He has never been subjected to a city life and we don't feel that this would be a good move for him.
In short Horus would like to lkive in the countryside and have all the attention to himself from his new family. For the right family he will be a marvellous companion
