Hades - South York’s

Hades is a stunning Caucasian X German Shepherd in need of a new home as he no longer gets along with the other dog in the home. He is a very friendly and excitable 16 month old pup who welcomes visitors with a little bark and by jumping up playfully. Hades loves people and attention and behaves like a very big and happy puppy. However, he is a well behaved boy who listens to commands and is housetrained. 
Due to his size and giddy nature, Hades would be best suited in a home with older children. 
He does not get along with the other male dog in the home but has been tested with our volunteer's dogs and got along great with females so he could potentially live with a bitch.
When out on a walk, this lovely boy walks nicely on the lead. He is reactive to other dogs so has not been let off the lead for a while and his recall might not be on point anymore. Hades is a clever boy and has received some training but he is still young and would benefit from further training, especially since he is reactive to dogs. He is OK in a larger group or with dogs he knows.
Hades is such a smart and loving pup and would make a loyal family companion for someone who is familiar with the needs of his breed. He's currently living in a kennel as he has to be separated from the other dog, and is longing for companionship and a warm bed. He has so much to offer and is very ready for a fresh start.
