FREYA - KENT

This ;lovely young lady is sadly looking for anew home due to a clash of personalitites in the home. Her owners love her dearly but she rules the roost and having been purchased at the start of the first lockdown she has had very little socialsiation. She has been to 5 training classes but since then things sadly have gone from bad to worse.

A kindly neighbour saw the owners struggling and have stepped in to help. They have had 4 trainers but each time the owners revert to old school trsining methods and Freya is learning her own way that she is the boss. Her owners now are very wary of her.

The neighbour and the volunteer see a beautiful soul in a confused state of mind. She needs calm, stength of character and consistency.

She needs someone who has an understanding of the breed and their traits and someone who has oodles of patience to help her understand how to be a dog.

Freya has the potential to be a fabulous dog. She comes from an obedience background so would do well in that sort of home. We are sure she is bored and wants to use her brain. She just needs the right stimulation.

The volunteer found a beautiful dog with some familiar/good breeders in the pedigree. He felt that she is not let out in the garden often enough to expend any energy, and not walked enough by this couple. She is therefore constantly on the go. The well meaning and kind owners are expecting a well behaved dog, and have forgotten that a puppy or young dog wants freedom, enjoyment and positive reinforcement. With little socialisation with dogs or other people Freya has no manners. A 38kg puppy who has an unresolvable clash of personalities with her owners.

Freyer would need to be the only dog in an adult only household. A calm quiet home where she can begin to destress and start her life over.....
