ENERGETIC EVIE

Evie has just come back to kennels having failed a foster trial. This is so sad for her, and all of her fans. She is such a sweet affectionate girl, and she yearns for a home, unlike some Caucasians. Her foster experience was actually a great success, and her carers were devastated to have to return her. The only issue was that Evie was too young and bouncy for their other elderly GSD. Sometimes a new playmate can reinvigorate an older dog. Sadly, in this case, he proved too elderly and was hurt by Evie's energetic play. She is not huge but she is a big girl and, being only a pup is full of joie de vivre.

I don't know if Evie remembers her early life. Happily, she does not seem to have been traumatised by this. She is a cheerful sunny natured girl who wants to be friends with everyone. We do not know much about her very early life, as she came to us as an emergency. She was rescued from her home by the intervention of a friend of the family, who could see that Evie was being abused. She was eight months old and lived in a crate, which was too small for her to even stand. There was every possibility that, had she remained, she would have become deformed by this cruel incarceration.

Happily, Evie moved on when she came to kennels. She is a great favourite and then she adapted to all aspects of home life, to the manner born. Often, Caucasians like to plod around their land, and some do not relish an indoor life. Not Evie. She likes couches and all the other home comforts and even walks pleasantly on a lead. We would only say that she should not live with younger children because she is still a bouncy pup and she might inadvertently be too much for younger children, as she was for last companion.

This girl is the proverbial fluffy teddy with a temperament to match. Can you resist her?
